Christmas Holiday Shopping Countdown...

Hard to believe that Christmas is only 46 Days away. Not sure where this year went, but we will soon be celebrating the New Year 2011!

So, I am being self indulgent this morning. A girl has to do that once in a while. *smile* Below are just a few items from my online shop on Etsy

A little something for everyone.

Have a Great Day!

Chalkboard Fascination..

Since I was in grade school, chalkboards were always a love of mine.  I especially loved it when the teacher asked me to come write on the board and then at the end of the day as Teacher's helper I got to take the erasers outside and clean them.  Getting all the chalky dust on my clothes and hands.  I looked like Casper the Ghost.  HA!

Soooooo, how could I resist creating chalkboards as an adult? I couldn't!  I just recently listed my first two chalkboard creations in my Etsy shop.  But not just your ordinary chalkboards, these are done in customized colors.
The first one is a gorgeous shade of Peach.  Hard to believe it is a chalkboard, but trust me, it is.  :)

The fabric flower and eraser are handcrafted as well.

How about a soft sage green chalkboard?  Done!  How about adorning it with buttons and a mini handcrafted satin fabric flower?  Done!

OK, two done, now onto doing more! and more! and more!  All in an array of awesome colors, shapes and sizes. Can you tell I am excited? *smile*

For my readers in the states, wishing you a wonderful 4th of July holiday weekend!

For my International readers, have an awesome weekend!

Summer Flower Garden...

OK, I confess I have been holding out on all of you.  I accept any and all punishment.  *smile*  Now you scratch your head and ask yourself... "What is she holding out on?" hmmmmmm....

I promised after the craft fair that I would share with you my newest creations that  my customers at the fair saw before my online readers and customers.  So without further ado here they are!  My mini Fabric Flower Post Earrings.

Are these just too fun?

I have been wearing a different pair everyday and I can't tell you how many times I have been asked "Where did you get those?".

What makes them extra special is that I can't reproduce another identical pair.  So doesn't that make them One of a Kind?  Yuppers.  :)

Now you just know you want to see more of these little darlings.  All were created using "fun", "whimsical" and "dramatic" fabrics.

I have made it easy for you to see them, click on the photo and you will be transported without pain, I promise, to my online shop.

See you there!

Nothing Shabby Here...

It's been a very quiet and slow Friday, so I took advantage of it and created a new Treasury in Treasury East.

I hope you have a few minutes to stop by and say Hi to the Featured Artisans. To view the Treasury click on the photo. I promise, you won't regret it. *smile*

Have an awesome weekend everyone!

My Weekend June Arts & Craft Fair...

Wow, I survived the weekend!  22 hours in two days is incredibly long, but soooooo much fun!  I met so many wonderful sellers and customers.  Now the important question, do I still have a voice?  For the answer.... NOPE!  :)  The photo above is my table prior to the fair starting.  I love love love my new banner!   My daughter surprised me with it last week, is she just too awesome?!

This is a brand new venue for this craft fair.  I met the owner of the establishment, he is so into Arts & Crafts.

Since my banner colors are mostly blue, pink & purple I thought I would use the colors throughout my display.  The photo below shows the corner glass shelf I picked up last weekend in a yard sale for $3.  Isn't it pretty with the fresh coat of Sweet Pea Pink?

And now my earring display.  I was so happy with how it turned out.  I found this adorable whimsical metal mesh mailbox at Goodwill last weekend during their 50% of sale, got it for $5, brought it home and gave it a pretty color of French Lilac.  To attach the earrings,  I one hole punched the earring cards, used satin ribbon woven through the metal mesh and attached the card by tying the ribbon on each with a bow.

I can't wait for July now!  Bring it on!  2nd Saturday & Sunday's Arts & Crafts is going to be my favorite time of the month.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my mini show of the craft fair.

Have an awesome week!

Memorial Holiday Weekend...

It has been absolutely gorgeous in Arizona this weekend! Off to a picnic in a few, but I wanted to share with my readers my "newest" creation. I am so excited about them. Without further ado *drum* roll... Fabric Flower Button Post Earrings!

Now how cute are these?  Yes, I am prejudice, since I made them. *smile*  But I just love, love, love them!

I have so much fun creating these flowers for my dog/cat collar listings and making them into hair clips so us ladies can be fashionable.  It occurred to me, well, why not earrings?!?

So, I made the thought a reality.

They are so comfortable to wear.  Extremely light weight.  You don't realize you are wearing them.

Wishing all of you a wonderful Holiday weekend!
